On Tuesday April 4, the Prince William Chamber of Commerce hosted a half day event entitled “Powerful Partnerships” at the Manassas Park Community Center. VF&N Manassas attorneys Kristina Keech Spitler and Karen Cohen were asked to serve as panelists and speakers, touching on the legal considerations for powerful partnerships. The event focused on developing powerful and strategic partnerships within the community and within businesses, providing tools for attendees to learn how to work together in cooperation for the greater good. Kris and Karen kicked it off with the first session of the day, covering topics like “Running Your Organization & HR Pitfalls”, as well as “How to Stay Legal”. They provided attendees with insight on how to keep an organization up and running, the importance of having partnerships in place that help fill the gaps during transitions, and strategies to build and grow a board.
The employment law attorneys and real estate attorneys at VF&N are always thrilled and pleased to participate in the Prince William Chamber’s events and look forward to continuing in our own great partnership.
