For over three decades, Mr. Martin has acted as zoning and land use counsel to national and local home builders, shopping center developers, national service stations, fast-food operators, banks, self-storage and hotel operators, child care centers, automobile dealers, private schools and churches. He has obtained zoning approvals for over 3000 residential units and over 3 million square feet of commercial, retail and industrial space.
As zoning counsel, Keith has helped hundreds of clients obtain zoning entitlements from all local governing bodies in Northern Virginia. During the zoning process, he negotiates one-on-one with elected officials, county planners, zoning administrators, and civic groups. Following successful completion of the zoning process, he is also well versed in drafting deeds of subdivision, dedication, and easements in order to obtain subdivision, site plan, and building permit approvals.
