Cynthia Edwards serves as an of counsel attorney to Vanderpool, Frostick & Nishanian. She brings with her a wide variety of litigation experience.
After clerking for the West Virginia Supreme Court, Ms. Edwards returned to her hometown of Culpeper, Virginia where she built a successful Domestic Relations and Family law practice in all area courts. After a break to focus on her family, she returned the legal profession, serving as guardian ad litem for both children and adults in juvenile and circuit court matters. She also served as Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the County of Culpeper. Ms. Edwards now focuses her practice on the representation of the children brought into the care of the Department of Social Services. Her experience in all aspects of the legal system, both criminal and civil, makes her especially suited to handle the sensitive and complex matters of DSS litigation.
