Michael R. Vanderpool practices
primarily in the areas of business and corporate law, real estate, and
land use and zoning. Mr. Vanderpool graduated from Penn State cum laude
in 1972 where he earned a Phi Beta Kappa designation. He also graduated
from Georgetown University Law School in 1975 where he was an editor
of one of the law journals. Mr. Vanderpool serves on the Board of Trustees
of George Mason University Foundation, is a past President of the Prince
William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce and a past member
of the City of Manassas Industrial Development Authority. He is a former
chairman of the City of Manassas Republican Party. He is a former member
of the Board of Trustees of Prince William Health System and is a member
and past President of the Manassas Rotary Club. He is also a former
member of the Board of Directors of the Northern Virginia Transportation
Alliance, the Prince William County Bar Foundation, and the Prince William/66
Partnership, Inc., and holds an appointment to the Manassas Business
Council.
